Corticotomy-assisted orthodontics

Traditional orthodontics are associated with several drawbacks despite the great improvement of esthetics and function. Those drawbacks may include long treatment time, creation of dehiscence and fenestration, gingival recession and root resorption. Corticotomy, and the usage of piezoelectric surgery in particular, may offset all those problems.
