COVID-19 - New Safety Protocols in the Dental Office

It’s become evident that with this new strain of SARS-CoVid, and its ability to become aerosolized, we must adopt new protocols to maintain safety for our patients and ourselves. As well as changing protocols, we will have to modify treatment techniques and revert back to the days before ultrasonic. Hand instrumentation is a safer method to remove biofilm during these new times.
